Produced ‘Soft’ bottle saline containers with deflating capability for full range of infusion in use, which so-called as ‘Closed system’ saline, in order to reduce contamination from puncture to push saline in the bottle.

1 December, Dr. Chanthakorn Chutidamrong took the position of the 3rd Managing Director.

6 September, opening ceremony of the new factory at Navanakorn industrial estate phase I in Pathumthani province. 22 October, the company was transformed to be a public limited company by registration to the Ministry of Commerce 1 December, Dr. Banyat Atiburanakul took the position of the 2nd  Managing Director. Expanded to produce plastic bottles for saline solutions and was the first manufacturer of the dialysis solutions ‘Safe-Lock’ systems.

The company started producing CAPD (continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis) solutions.

19 July, changed the company name to ‘General Hospital Products Co Ltd’ becoming the first real Thai manufacturer of saline solutions with Mr. Silp Indravisith was the 1st Managing Director.
